How is a visa document checklist prepared?
Every country and visa type has its own document list, and even for the same country the requirements change depending on whether you are employed, retired, a student or a company owner. Generic lists rarely reflect these differences.
We create a checklist specific to your application, stating where each document comes from, how recent it needs to be and whether translation or certification is required.
Application forms and translations
Small errors on an application form, or answers that contradict your documents, can make a file harder to assess. We complete the form with you so it matches your documents exactly, including online forms such as the US DS-160.
When Turkish documents need translating, we identify which require a sworn translation and which also need notarisation, and we coordinate the translation process.
How do I book a visa appointment?
Depending on the country, applications go through the authorised visa application centre, the consulate or an online system. UK and Canadian applications, for instance, are completed online and require a separate appointment to give biometrics (fingerprints and a photo), while US applicants complete the DS-160 and usually attend an interview at the embassy or consulate.
